    Good album. Alexander The Great is epic. What brings the album down slightly for me is the production. 7th Son sounds similar but it's cleaner.

    The thing about Maiden is, they're not usually cited as "prog metal", but I think they were the one band that did the best job of mixing elements of "prog" and heavy metal together.
    Yeah, they were doing full blown prog even in the 80s. 7th Son ( the epic track) is probably the proggiest thing they've done until their last album. Metallica was proggy too but they we're just balls out metal.
