Stumbled across this on iTunes. Anyone know anything about it? Dodgy sound, but worth it for a live Gabriel-era "Supper's Ready".

Never heard of it. Probably a bootleg given the dodgy sound quality and dopey title.

Amazon has it for $8.99. It looks similar to a recording I have BBC Live 1972, at least the set list does.
LOL- those aren't the bands first songs and they use the logo from "Calling all Stations"
i have no idea what this means. I can't recall what album I called "Meh", but regardless, that was nothing personal towards you or anyone, so there is a big difference. If you do take personal offense when someone calls an album that you like "meh", then there are other issues that need to be discussed/resolved. Hopefully that isn't the case.
Chucklehead?. I've definitely been called worse than that.
None of the Selling England material made it into any of the BBC sessions. All the songs here have seen official release live except Twilight Alehouse, so you may be right that some songs are from the BBC sessions. Dancing with the Moonlit Knight is misspelled (Moonlight), always a sure sign of bootlegginess. Cover does look like a amateurish cut-n-paste job (exactly the kind I used to make for my custom covers). Seems highly unlikely a fresh source would appear after all this time. My advice: skip it!
Chucklehead is a very close derivative of the Anglo-Germanic knucklehead, which in some Afro-Nordic circles can be construed as derrogatory.
The First Box set and Genesis Live are probably the best early live stuff. I'd steer clear of that particular cd. I've seen it too on itunes, and it seems a little sketchy, at first I thought it was Calling All Stations tour live- that would've been cool.

Big O had a recording from the Calling all Stations tour up not too long ago. Set list looks great but when you realize they don't do much more than the intro to a couple of the "classics" vs. the whole version... it's a bit of a let down. Sound quality wasn't too bad as I recall... it's been a while since I played it. Regarding other recordings, I've got several recordings from the Lamb tour as well as Selling England tour that are great recordings, nice mix, set list wonderful etc.
They are out there if you look hard enough.
Only decent CAS live set I have is a boot called Nir Perfect. Sound quality is very, very good, but as with most radio shows, it is only part of the full concert.
^Looks the same as what I've got... could be a mis-titled song with track 7. Mine list it as "Not about Us" vs. The Loneliness we feel.
There's a song called "Selling England by the Pound?"
