    Holdsworh/Bruce/Hiseman unreleased demos

    These 1978 recordings were entitled the "Sherwood Forest Demo's", the project stalled due to lack of record company interest.

    Wow, this is pretty amazing. "Sent anonymously to various record labels"? Weird tactic for a trio of name players. Of course Jack Bruce's cover would be blown from the first syllable out of his throat. Great take on "Bird Alone"--even longer than the released one.

    Btw - the soundcloud link also leads to recordings with Gordon Beck, Ian Carr and Tempest (all with Holdsworth).
    I had a nice evening with them yesterday.
