    RIP Carl Kasell, 84

You hear many voices that have a quality that sticks in your mind.
Carl Kasell had one of those voices.
His news career was capped by his regular spot on the NPR quiz show Wait! Wait!....Don't Tell Me.
He came to Wolf Trap to see a taping of Wait! Wait! after he had retired.
This was last summer ( 2017 ). He was in the audience with his family.
At the end of the show he was recognized by the host Peter Sagal.
Mr Kassell received a 10 minute standing ovation.
It was awesome. RIP Carl Kasell

Oh, what a bummer. Didn't know he was that old.
Wait Wait is a great show. We try to catch it Saturday mornings when we can.
    RIP Carl

RIP to a kind man with a great sense of humor and a million dollar voice.

I knew him from Wait... Wait.... A great voice and even greater sense of humor.

    Rest easy now.
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world.
