Yup. The first one is fantastic. The second I did not enjoy as much.

That clip as Basta duo looks very promising.

I think we have simultaneously mentioned this news - I updated the Aranis thread :-)

Anyway, I have donated 50 euros as well.

I have "Rood" which I thought was the second Basta CD... It's Joris' bass compositions behind someone reciting poetry in Flemish.
It's quite interesting but I don't play it often... any one want it for $10 shipped?
hit me up at laduca@msu.edu if so

I have that one, it's not as good as the debut though it does have its charm, I think the long piece kinda saves it.

Part of the video reminded me of this cover from Caetano Veloso:

I went back and revisited the band-camp site after my "bitch" about the $17.50 shipping fee. I see now that the shipping calculation to the USA is around $3.50. With the current dip in the Euro...the physical CD + Shipping (I paid the asking price of 15 Euro's) is $21.22 USD. Providing this info in case others were balking at the shipping fee.....I bought the other two cd's from Mr. LaDuca and am enjoying them.
