The Toy Matinee boxes house everything within the Toy Matinee release/era: Promo CD Singles, cassette, re-releases, promo versions, live CD, acoustic rehearsal CD, acoustic mastering CD.

For albums such as Live's Throwing Copper, I have so many discs related to that 1994 multi-platinum album, so it calls for multiple boxes to house everything. Even with these 3 done, I have another 2 needed to complete it all.

Their album, Mental Jewelry, only requires one box.

Apologies for the crudeness of my pics within this thread. I didn't have time to fully set up my lightbox, as I had already packed it for my move.

I dug it out, hooked it up, and have only been using my iPhone camera so you all could see these boxes.

    Great news!

I bought those 2012 reissues back when they came out, and was just glad to have those Giraffe albums on CD finally (at an affordable price). There was some great music on those. Are there going to be any bonus materials like unreleased songs or demos?

^^ Beautiful. I love the blue box. Had I not bought it twice already (US and UK versions), I might try to find the Japanese edition as well.

Agreed. And largely due to a lot of the album tracks that never got played on the radio, although the hits were good (but overplayed, as always). The followup album Secret Samadhi was also excellent.

Hmmm... shall I start a Live thread? Plenty of their music is awesome. Some of their deep tracks are fantastic!

    Their high water mark, imo.

Btw, they're touring the sheds this year with Counting Crows. I may have to make that show.

    Re: LIVE
I also prefer the deeper tracks and think Secret Samhadi is their best.

Got off their bus after TDtH though.

I basically did too, although there are one or two tracks on V that I like. In fact, I probably prefer that album to The Distance...

Looks like you have Kirk, Spock and Scarface(?) supervising things.

Wow, good eye! I am a collector of many things -- including action figures. Some vintage and some new. Some may scoff at the hobby, but It's very similar to train/car model building as I build some of them from parts. I've got 100+ of the 12" variety. Who doesn't love a well put together 12 incher, I say!

^ Wow, some of those are very good likenesses! Is that Jack Nicholson bottom left?

Who’s the guy holding the gun to Travolta? And who’s the guy with the twine belt?

I spy multiple MJs, Gene & Paul (no George and Ringo, I mean Ace and Peter), Pacino, Ahnuld, Travolta, SamJack and Bruce Willis! And the Spice Girls!

We're really going off topic now, so I will just throw this into one post.

Correct on Spice Girls, KISS guys (yes, I have the original set from 1978 as well as a bunch more), Michael Jackson.

JKL2000 -- not Jack Nicholson, but I am thinking of doing a Shining version soon. But, the parts are very expensive, especially his head sculpt.

When I get settled into the new place and get to display everything in a decent set up, I will post in the "collections & memorabilia" thread. For now, here's a couple of pics. Again, these look better in person and with better lighting than is shown in these pics. I am also not done with some of them. Scarface still needs some gold chains. I just assembled the Pulp Fiction guys last week, and still need to work on Samuel a bit:

Dirty Harry was actually pointing his gun at T2 but once Jules & Vincent moved in, they had to squeeze into that space.

In the close-up it's 100% SC, but in the original picture I would have sworn it was Daniel Craig. How dey do dat?

Received a new shipment of boxes today, so I fired up the assembly line.

With that, I think I may only need one more box for The Cars.
