I went for the Blast deal. I reckon if Dave Kerman played on...well, it can't be all bad, then, can it? And for five bucks, why not?

Done!
"[Carousel is ] a solid and convincing record, with many of the old Soft Machine qualities of compositional interest and high standard of performance in evidence. Enjoyable and consistant"

This album really does have some strong Bone! Seriously though, Hugh’s bass on this is a joy to listen to! Lock, Stock, and Barrel is great! I think I have to buy this.
And I just did! Steve, that’s one more digital copy out of your inventory...
Done!
Happy, so happy !!
"Two valuable if obscure dates led by British bassist-composer Graham Collier are issued for the first time on this double CD...The music is adventurous and swinging in its own fashion, but also influenced by the avant-garde and looking towards the even freer British jazz of the 1970s." – AllMusic

I tend not to go for big bands as much, but I'm sort of a softie for the peak period British jazz, so I grabbed the Collier set and I'm enjoying it immensely.
Had I been told that Workpoints was a Nucleus release, I would have believed it.
