Well he's trying to argue that the opponent caused the false start due to his movement across the line, this is part of the standard ploys to get the ref's to think about the defensive player before throwing the flag. I see loads of QB's and coaches doing this.

The flag was already thrown, the false start was clear even to my eyes, and Brady's mannerisms are that of a spoiled brat.
Yes, I've seen many other teams/players/coaches try the same tactic, but Brady comes across as "IT'S NOT FAIR! NOTFAIRNOTFAIRNOTFAIR!!!!"
And I am no fan of Tomlin or Rapelisberger either...

The automatic gravy train ride that Brady and to a far lesser extent Rodgers have had are coming to a close (Brady) and over (Rodgers).
At least twice, it appeared as if one of the Steelers DL got off the line awful quick, a borderline offsides call. I thought on the first one I saw, that the TV team announcing it even said "that's an offsides" or something to that effect

Hard to argue that the Jets, Bills and Fins haven't provided the toughest route over the last decade, I actually think it's more age catching up with Brady and the holes in the Pats team around him than any of those 3 showing any particular signs of life.

I can do without the "show"

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
Looks like the Rams and Saints aren't as invincible as everyone thinks they are.

It appears that defenses are starting to catch up with some of these high flying offenses as the season wears on, and as more film is viewed of some of these QBs and fancy offensive schemes. Plus, as the weather gets colder that tends to tamp down scoring.
Rams struggle since Bye week. Could injured wideout Cooper Kupp be the missing key? Perhaps greying left tackle Whitworth's ligament and bones creek and ache, rusted like a tin windup toy. Big name defensive acquisitions Suh, Peterson, and Talib disappoint. Worst pair of inside linebackers in league. Meanwhile Aaron Donald gets triple teamed...Where's the pressure?
One thing for sure. McVay needs to experiment during the SF and Arizona games. Rotate fresh flesh into inside linebacker positions. With Goff's security blanket Kupp in mothballs, perhaps the Rams should sub TE Gerald Everett for WR Reynolds. You get better blocking plus mismatches. Although Reynolds has better hands, opposing defenses have to respect Everett's Running Back ability after the catch. Either teams will go 1 on 1 with a LB or be forced to drop a safety down to cover Everett. Also sub younger offensive linemen in for vets hitting the wall. Lt Notebloom 40% for Whitworth 60%. And Brian Allen for Sullivan at center.
Playoffs? The Rams are one and done if they don't fix glaring weaknesses.
Oh, you want actual proof?
Well, the first thing off the top of my head would be:
1966 NFL Championship Green Bay 34 Dallas 27 at Dallas (41 degrees)
1967 NFL Championship Green Bay 21 Dallas 17 at Green Bay (13 below)
(Or google any Rams playoff game in Dec/Jan played in a northern outside stadium..)
Seriously, I was referring to games in outside northern and Midwest stadiums, so yes, inclement and colder weather is part of that. I admittedly haven't done any exhaustive research other than my own observations and general impressions watching football for the last 50 years

I for one am glad to see some of these teams getting taken down a peg or two. It makes for a more exciting end of season and playoffs. Really looking forward to that Saturday night tilt between the Chargers and Ravens!

The temperature at kick-off for the Broncos' 38-35 double-OT loss in the AFC divisional playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens was 13 degrees, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina, making it the coldest playoff game in Broncos history.
On a warm sunny day I think the outcome could have been different.

I can picture it now..."Chargers 17, Ravens 13...Ravens on the Chargers 14 with 9 seconds left and neither team has any timeouts. This is it folks! Harbaugh has pulled Jackson and replaced him with Flacco...There's the snap!...Flacco drops back!...Pressure up the middle!, Flacco escapes as the pocket breaks down!...He's running for it! 10! 5!...Oh! Flacco is dragged down at the 2 by Derwin James with no time left on the clock! Chargers win!"
^ Or a zebra trips Flacco as he's a yard away from the end zone.....lol
^Or turn out the lights again.

Obvious defensive holding ..... uncalled.
