The Browns are no longer a laughing stock.
Just sayin'.
Next year: Playoffs
You heard it here first.
Really happy for you, moe. You guys deserve it.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
You wouldn't believe how much this is a football town. We had Indians in the World Series a few times, and the Cavaliers won a championship. All great fun, and the city was all on board. But if you really want to see a fan explosion, let the Browns make it to the Super Bowl. All bets are off on the lunacy at that point. (And the Browns nation around the country will come out big time.)
I hope I live long enough.
I would. Very much like Pittsburgh. Yeah, the Penguins and Pirates have had some success, but the city lives by the Steelers.
Browns fans have always been fierce. Out of my division rivals, I would root for them second. I already miss the days when
Cleveland could be counted as two automatic wins!
A Comfort Zone is not a Life Sentence
Growing up in Erie, it was always been a mix of Steelers fans (40%), Browns fans (25%), Bills fans (15%), others (20%). It seems in recent years when I've visited, it's been mostly Steelers and others, as the Browns and Bills fans have gone into hiding lol.
I have always had a soft spot for the Browns, whereas never really felt that for the Bills (with the exception of the "wide right" days). What's good for them right now is that Mayfield seems to have asserted himself as a leader amidst the chaos of the season, which can really pay off dividends in the future potentially.
WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
When I relocated to South Florida in 1984 all we had were the Dolphins. In that time we've had one SB appearance. Up to now we've had two WS Championships and three NBA Championships, and 2 or 3 college football National Champiinships. We're still, really an NFL town.
My prediction for the final 3 games. We'll win today (The game we are supposed to lose) and we'll lose the final 2 games (The games we are supposed to win) and we'll finish 8-8.
It's a fucking bloodbath. I wore a Dolphins cap today for the first time this season. It's going in the garbage. Jesus, no fight whatsoever in this team.
Just checking in to see what state Vic is in. I'm not surprised.

And the funny, idiotic truth is, I removed the damn cap and it's like they finally got some fight in 'em. I swear......
Ooooh boy, Dallas' Team got trampled by the Colts.
The Vikes finally looked like the team they were supposed to be all year. Yes, running the ball can still win games, and it helps your D. That ridiculous home loss to the Bills early in the year cost the Vikes a chance at the North title.
For those of you who play fantasy football (I do not), I hope you all started Gronk today! Ugh!

In the fourth the Vikings implemented the plan that worked in the first - grind the ball downhill and season liberally with a passing threat. And thankfully, not another pick-six for Cousins.

In the last several weeks, we've seen incredibly boneheaded picks thrown in the Red Zone at key times by Brees, Rivers, and now Brady. Wtf is going on?
F*** the Vikings. They're going nowhere. We beat ' em in the Superbowl, in 1974....
This one feels sooo good!
A Comfort Zone is not a Life Sentence
Just as I feared. Seahawks go into SF and completely lay an egg and lose to a dumpster fire of a team.
God the Patriots suck.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF STUPID PEOPLE IN LARGE GROUPS!
It's difficult to watch any of the teams at the top of the AFC and come to the conclusion that they stand any chance against the Saints or Rams.
