On local sports talk today they said Conner's numbers this year are better than Bell's last year.

Rams Chiefs officially moved to LA. Good for the Rams getting their home game back.

If there is a player no team should sign next year it's him. Turning down 14 million a year is pathetic.

They said on the radio that he would be an unrestricted free agent next year. They could, of course, be wrong.

Someone will sign him, don't see the point in transitional tagging him, they aren't going to match any offer. He used the only leverage he had & obviously it was important to him if he was prepared to walk away from $14MM.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Transition tag may drive down his value. It will also guarantee them a mid round compensation pick in the draft.

There is no compensation on transitional tags.

It would appear my initial sources were incorrect. Thanks for clarifying!

It makes no more sense to tie up a massive amount of $ on a running back than it did to throw a huge contract at Donkeykong Sue. (Which Miami bailed on, eventually.)

If it helps the Rams win a SB then they will consider it money well spent on Suh, they are all in for this year.

Major loss to the Rams with Cooper Kupp tearing his ACL.

It will be interesting to see how things go with Bell in the offseason. I assume since he'll still only be 27 that he should get a healthy 4-year deal, but I don't see how he is going to make more money than he would have had he played this season. And while he's a solid RB, perhaps an elite one, he may find it difficult to get the same production on a team with a slower and/or mediocre O-line.

Not to mention a line that is used to holding their blocks longer. (as he needs) Or, having a Hall of Fame QB and wide receiver in the same lineup.

he may have cut his own throat

Once again, there is absolutely no consistency, rhyme or reason to the NFL system of doling out fines.
Eric Reid is fined 10, 036 for a targeting shot to Big Ben's head last week, which got him ejected from
the game. Donte Fowler was fined the same amount for grabbing an opponents face mask.

Donte Fowler was suspended one game already because of some battery charges or something. Maybe that has something to do with it. Regardless, he is another douche in a sea of NFL douches...no probs here.

I have no problem with his fine. Its a low level NFL fine, which is why I can't begin to wonder why Reid got the same low level fine for an
infraction that he was ejected for.

    In other news.....

    Cleveland? Really?

A tale of two Bens. Last week, Big Ben has a QB rating of 158.3
This week in the first half, a QB rating of 10.1
