Yes. They were atrocious on both sides of the ball in the second half.

Don't think I'd agree with you there. The Browns had over 10 penalties before the Ravens had their first penalty called on them, and that didn't happen until the 4th quarter. Then the officials bent both teams over.

Edit: It was exactly 10 penalties. Not saying they didn't deserve them, but the Ravens into the 4th with zero penalties? Um,..yeah, right.

The word out of Bristol, Connecticut is that the desks on the SportsCenter set have had to be raised a whole 3 inches to accommodate the massive hard ons of the ESPN announcers after Odell Beckham Jr threw a touchdown pass to Saquon Barkley in the Giants-Panthers game today.

And now the Eagles are victims of an AWFUL quarterback protection call.

As it should be. The old rule was ridiculous.

Mason Crosby missed 4 field goals (3 easily makeable distance) AND an extra point (13 points). Pack had 3 turnovers, Lions 0. Cheeseheads lost by 11. If you look at both Rodgers stats as well as the overall offensive domination of the Pack over the Lions in an 11 point loss, it looks like it couldn't be accurate, but it is.

Is Crosby having 2016 deja vu? Yikes!

Sure, but the new is equally ridiculous, as witnessed by the majority of commentators and their confusion as to what constitutes a catch. They overcompensated.

That's what I said last season when Ben passed the ball 66 times against the Ravens with no offensive penalties.

Seahawks lose 33-31 to Rams, is that a good loss? We seem to be playing pretty well.

I can't figure the Lions out this year, but I will take the win. Crosby really was the goat in this game, which is strange considering he is usually a good kicker.

I'll take the Vikings revenge win. The new rules have the zebras so flummoxed they don't know what to do or call. The NFL is really producing a sub-par product this year.

not a Pack fan... but... the early botched punt clearly hit the Lions man NOT the GB guy, so that first Lions TD set the tone and screwed the game going forward... while there's no love lost on GB from me, I AM a fan of honesty and that was a game changer at the very beginning of the game.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Hell of a lot of parity in the NFL this year, everyone seems to be around 3-2 or 2-3. Going to be a lot of teams involved in wildcard races this year.

Thank you. The two reasons I didn't allude to that in my post was that:

    1. Thanks to Crosby they still would have lost (the gift of 7 points by the refs notwithstanding)

    2. One Shadow here is sufficient

Spot on, ‘geezer. A loss is a loss and that’s it. Move on and go for the win next game. Sometimes refs suck, but not much you can do except work harder to overcome that.

The refereeing is so inconsistent and weak everywhere. There were two more roughing the passer/receiver calls in Giant game yesterday that had me burying my head in my palm. Cam newton is as big if not bigger than half the guys trying to tackle him...give me a freakin' break. The NFL is really hard to watch anymore...for me at least. The Giants suckage isn't helping either

    Total yards:

    Packers: 521
    Lions: 264
Final Score: Lions 31, Packers 23

^^ I think just by that alone you can pretty accurately infer exactly what happened in that game
