I used to enjoy reading the Progarchive's discussions. The viewpoints were well written, detailed, and thought provoking. Now, its a plethora of polls.

Just using this thread because it exists - please ignore my OP, which was a bit out of line, and is also now outdated.
What I'm wondering now is why PA never decided to indicate on albums that were originally on vinyl, what tracks were on side A and which were on side B (and sides C and D if applicable)? That's fairly important information to have when considering an album, if indeed it was originally on vinyl. For example, I just read a review of an album that was first released on an LP, and the review says the tracks on the A side were of a certain character, and the tracks on the B side were of a different character. So I'd like to know where side A ends and side B begins.
Anyone know if this was ever considered for PA and for some reason they decided not to do it? Or did they just never think of it? Or maybe they too often the reviewers didn't have the vinyl, only a CD. But if you're going to listen to it on CD, it would be useful to know.

PA's DB is fairly one-dimensional. It's only concerned with the album's content, not the different reissues - since both Discogs & RYM already were doing that at the time of PA's creation. We also have to sometimes choose which album artwork will be featured on the single-layer album page
Bands with albums that were never reissued in CD have the distinctive vinyl track list.

Yeah I use both Discogs and Wiki to find about original vinyl sides/tracklisting.

Did anyone else become unable to connect to Progarchives.com for the last couple of days using Chrome on Windows 10? I can reach it on Firefox, so it might be some old software on my very crappy laptop, or a recent change to Windows 10 or Chrome or Progarchives, or a combination.
PA has all sorts of problems at the moment, not least still on http vs https, there's also embedded malware. A bunch of us are getting booted for too many reconnect issues on Chrome & IE. I'm actually using Opera on my tablet to get there, Max the owner seems to have abandoned the site.

No problem for me either from work (Edge and Bing) or home (Firefox & Qwant) both computer on Windows 10.
My avoidance of anything Gaagles (except for YT) has become my raison d'ętre - along with the rest of the GAFAT (t for twatter)
But yes, it seems there are problems for weeks/months now and indeed M@X hasn't been reactive.
BTW, I don't think IE is being supported or updated by µS anymore, so one shouldn't surf with it anymore

I saw a message on PA that it was up for sale some time ago, but he was asking too much money, and that it is no longer up for sale. Can you provide other evidence that it is back on the block?
