    Inner Odyssey Quebec, Canada Wow!

Just discovered a band that was following ME at Soundclick! Holy crap! they're wonderful, They're Prog and they're Canadian! I bought their album "Have a seat". It grabbed me right away.

How come you guys aren't shouting this band from the rooftops?

No they're not my pals, no, I am not getting anything out of this, but hopefully a second and third and fourth album?

They handed me their business card a couple years ago at Terra Incognita. I never checked them out, but I still have the card somewhere.

Sounds more 90s metal to my ears than prog.

I just gave 3 tunes a listen....to me, they sound like a Dream Theater wanna-be band...pass (although there were some nice Moogy-type solos in there)

For me, anything that attempts to kick the edges of 4/4 time is worth a listen, and I'm probably the most liberal "prog" interpreter there is. Britney Spears stumbles in her stilettos, causing an incidental 5/4 measure by her drummer?.... "prog"

OK. I havent got my disk yet. and the debit card I used is now splashed all over the dark web.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY (UNICORN)!!!!!

Its the only activity I used this card for for the past 90 days and they've stolen a few hundred dollars out of that account. From Istanbul Turkey to France. Its going to be a mess to clean up.

Kinetic Element played that Terra Incognita festival with Inner Odyssey. I was taken with them enough to get their CD. They are young (very young) and finding their prog sea legs, so to speak, and yes, more metal sounding than I would prefer but I thought their compositions were very well done. Sort of on the level that Yes was on their first album back in 1968 from a compositional perspective. I believe these guys are going to get better and better if they can find some support to keep them together. Give them a chance, I think you will agree that they have a very solid foundation laid for their future releases.
