    I saw Vic Damone at a local Italian Fest many years ago. I wasn't there for the music, though. As he performed, all these thugs in black suits were scattered about providing "security" supervision, I guess.

    Damone did sound great, though.

    A fixture on TV specials all throughout my 1970's childhood. Guys like him, Andy Williams, Robert Goulet, etc. They delivered a form of entertainment that barely exists today.

    He was a pretty good Italian crooner (my parents liked him) who was married to actress Pier Angeli, who along with her sister Marisa Pavan made up what was then known as the "Italian Eyefuls". RIP Vic.
