I have many of his albums. I must say that I wish he'd let up on the echo/reverb. I was really into that type of reverb-drenched sound when his albums first appeared around 1990, but now I'd like to hear those acoustic ethnic instruments (that he mixes in with all the synths/samplers) without all the effects.

Was it Laser’s Edge that used to have Forrest Fang albums in the catalog?

Possibly.Many of his releases have been on Cuneiform and Projekt Records

A couple of his albums were on the Cunieform label, and I think you could order them through Wayside...
