    Much older too, as I saw The Yellow Kid and Little Nemo (I believe) in your selection

    I'll have to one day tell you about European comics (lots outside Tintin and the Smurfs, of course), beit from the Belgo-French roots or Italian stems.

    But we're getting side-tracked here.
