I'm about to spring for the Songs From Wood deluxe package and I understand there is great live concert footage there.
The story on MSG is that, because it was broadcast live they only turned on the cameras when they were actually broadcasting; it was a one hour broadcast so you get 50 or so minutes of footage. Other good 70s Tull on DVD:

1) the SFTW box: amazing full show from '77. Buy it.
2) Tullavision, a half-show from '76 (Tampa?). Used to be a boot. Now on "All Around the World" 4 DVD set.
3) Golder's Green. An abbreviated show from the "Sight and Sound" series. 1977 I believe. Available only as a boot, but good quality.
