    Well, his work on Don Cab's II, What Burns Never Returns and American Don, as well as on Bellini's Snowing Sun puts a new angle on the not-so established phenomenon of hyperactive precision drumming. He truly sounded like little else on those recordings. All in all, the 'math-rock/brutal-prog' batterymen were all rather uncanny in their approach. In a sense, they had to be in order to accomodate that music. Damon Che, Dave Bodie, Zach Hill, Keith Abrams, Yoshida-san - the lot.

    I just saw Glenn Kotche last week, even with his rock band "day job" (Wilco) he is fucking mind blowing (as well as that Nels guy).
