le Guess Who festival, Utrecht The netherlands

I saw the Big Ears thread and I realized that in the Netherlands we have a sorta equivalent of the big ears festival : le Guess Who?
This is from 9-12 November and the lineup is pretty cool. Amongst others; Alice coltrane, Thurston Moore band, Aquaserge and Shabaka & the Ancestors.

People in or around the netherlands might wanna check it out:

I am certainly going on sunday. Really want to catch Shabaka & the Ancestors. Undecided about Saturday yet.

And here I thought Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman were gonna be there.

Or the fake band that had been using the name.

Interesting sidenote...looks like Big Ears and Le Guess Who share a similar website engine I wonder if there are other relationships in place between the two fests? There's even a mention of Big Ears on the About page.

There are some really, really great names in there! A few repeats from Big Ears, but LGW are getting Ben Frost so I am *super* envious already. Oh, and Prurient should be great! I saw his other alias Vatican Shadow at my first Big Ears and really enjoyed the set.

So cool that festivals like this exist
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:
