Thanks for the laugh...I forgot how much I like that movie!

Amazing news. I love that record. Another one would be a beautiful thing.

What is the story with the live version of "Drag Ropes?" Did the band play a concert, or did one or the other show up for a special encore or something? Was "Drag Ropes" the only tune played? Inquiring minds want--nay, demand--to know. (They also, apparently, refuse to Google shit for themselves. Silly inquiring minds.)

    Spotify says it's a "demo."

If I recall, it was Akerfeldt turning up for one of RAH shows on the To the Bone tour.

It was a one-off, but as the shows were recorded professionally, SW has now confirmed that the live song has been mixed for the forthcoming 20th anniversary release.

It appears to have happened during the Hand Cannot Erase tour. I didn't realize that a video existed of this. Thanks for the reminder.

I was there at The Royal Albert Hall that night, one of the best concerts ever.

That's cool - was this the only piece that MA played, or did he sit in on anything else?
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

That was the only one from MA. Gavin Harrison and Guthrie Govan guested that night too.

Felt like a good morning to listen to this album in 5.1, so I did.

What a great piece of music.

Love that album; such an atmospheric, deep mood to it. I wish that they would do a follow-up.

MA guested on the first night, no others did. On the second night Gavin and Guthrie guested, along with Theo Travis.
