    Great list!

Any idea if Michele is still working on a new "La Torre dell’Alchimista" album?
Is Stefano Vicarelli still with Fonderia or did they gave that band up for La Batteria?

Good luck for your new album!

I assume "La Torre dell'Alchimista" is on hiatus at the moment but Michele is also composing a new song for the album after "Archiviarum".
I don't know Stefano's plans, he has so many projects going on and all exciting.

Didn't you guys just release any album? You must be trying to keep up with Neal Morse and Roine Stolt.

I look forward to hearing it.

Archiviarum is a collection of special recordings which The Samurai of Prog have made throughout the years. Four tracks are new, a few are previously unreleased, a few have appeared in other projects with which TsoP have been involved, and two are covers (none of the tracks has appeared in our albums before). All have been given a new treatment; they all have new mixes, and in some cases new arrangements. This isn’t a typical TSoP album – please don’t compare it directly to our previous releases. But all in all, we thought these tracks deserved to be assembled into a proper album. So, we threw a generous portion of love, care, and the kitchen sink at them to make them all shine. We were happily surprised to find that despite its piecemeal origins, Archiviarum grew into a cohesive listening experience. We hope you agree!

    - Marco, Kimmo, and Steve [December 2017]

    The Samurai of Prog are:
o Marco Bernard: Bass Guitar, Project Manager
o Kimmo Pörsti: Drums and Percussion, Audio Engineer
o Steve Unruh: Violin, Flute, Vocals, Guitar

I've wondered why the album title is Archiviarum instead of Archivarium, which rolls off the tongue more easily, but figuring that out involved trying to remember a little of the little Latin I took in college, and the meaning of the ending -iarum. Is there a reason it's called Archiviarum, or did you mean to call it Archivarium?

Granted, Archivarium might sound too much like a Dream Theater or Asia song title...

"Archiviarum" is Latin, translates to "Archive".

Can't claim to be a specialist of Latin, but "archivarium" does seem to me to be proper Latin, with Google searches for "archiviarum" producing mainly pages related to... the new TSoP album...

If you use Google translate from Latin to English, Archiviarium does indeed translate to Archive. I initially thought they'd meant to call it Archivarium rather than Archiviarum because Archivarium rolls off the tongue much more nicely, but thought there was somehow a spelling error. But in fact it seems they meant to call it Archiviarum which seems to be proper Latin for Archive. They were correct!

Asia used Archiva anyway, which is just meaningless! And Eternity X used Imaginarium!
