    Galactic Travels

When WDIY came on the air in 1995, Thursday night 11 pm to 1 am had a Classic Prog program called Deep Cuts. After two years, the host called it quits. I was offered the slot for the electronic music program I had proposed doing. So late January, 1997, Galactic Travels took to the air. I promised to not totally forget the listeners of Deep Cuts.

Last night, I included music from a Prog band in the playlist/soundscape:

Galactic Travels Playlist #1073 for October 26, 2017.

    RECAP:
On this show, I concluded the month-long focus on Paul A Vnuk Jr. The Featured CD at Midnight was "Hymn of Tongues" on AtmoWorks. You also heard new music by Frore and Shane Morris, Michael Brückner, and Progressive Rock band Stick Men, featuring Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, and Markus Reuter.

Yes. GT is rebroadcast four times each week on http://modul303.com internet radio. For those in Columbus, Ohio, GT is rebroadcast on WGRN-FM. For those who cannot wait, shows are archived on Mixcloud, usually a few days (well within a week) of their original broadcast date. Old playlists have a link. The current playlist will be updated with its link next Thursday. Announcements of when new episodes are available are made on Facebook and other places.
