Ripping, instrumental, Jazzy Prog-Rock on the heavier end of the spectrum. Worth having, but probably won't change your life. The 2nd, Landlords of Atlantis, (or something like that) is also worth having.

Good stuff. And that second album was produced by none other that Kevin Gilbert ("for about the cost of a cup of coffee").

I like both albums. Definitely heavier than Brand X.

I was going to add that the production could be problematic for the OP. I seem to recall it as "of it's time" and similar to that cramped, Magna Carta label style.

Both albums are indeed excellent! Heavy trio work outs.

I enjoy them both as well, and agree with these sentiments already posted. Didn't the late wonderful Doug Lunn also play bass on these? I know he gigged with them.

    What he said
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I have the first one and really like it. Never got LOA, but should check it out.

I like 'em, but of the two side projects that Goodsall and Jones worked on, I prefer Jones' Tunnels.
