Wow. I loved that. Some of the best stuff I've ever heard from the Howe.

The man has a deep catalog and there are many gorgeous tunes. This is one called "Camera Obscura" (below) is of my favorites.
Simply Gorgeous. I regularly play this when I watch a sunset.

This disc arrived today and I put it on right away. Absolutely beautiful album, excellent stuff.

Still getting to know this record, but I think most of the tracks are better than the two they previewed.

Got it today and played it once so far. Will have to wait for it to grow on me I think.

Virgil Howe (23 September 1975 – 11 September 2017) was a British musician best known for his work in Little Barrie and with his father Steve Howe. Never forget

No cause of death has been given, which does unfortunately point to suicide. I hope it’s not the case, but it seems likely.

^ It seems to me somewhere between pointless and irresponsible to speculate along such lines. We don't know how he died. Does that matter?

It is neither pointless nor irresponsible to speculate. We are all human, and what affects one of us affects all of us. How people live and die does matter, as there are always lessons for us in it.

It is pointless and irresponsible to speculate in the absence of any information. It could be this, it could be that, we don't know.

How people live and die matters. We should talk about death, be it from suicide or cancer, from road traffic accident or malaria. But how is that discussion enriched by naming a particular individual when we know nothing about what happened? If he died of this, then... but maybe he didn't. If he died of that, then... but maybe he didn't die of that either. What lesson is learnt from how he died when we don't know how he died?

Moreover, what about respecting the wishes of the family and his colleagues? They've chosen not to announce what happened. I kinda feel their wishes trump the curiosity of people in an online discussion board.

Their wishes don’t affect our curiosity, even if you respect their wishes, which I do. If they want to stop speculation, they should make known the cause of death. That’s the last I’ll say about it.

Speculating about someone's death is in bad taste to my mind, especially starting rumours when actually you have no idea.

To get back on topic I've been enjoying this new album, a nice one to add to the Howe library.

I’m really enjoying this album. I wish people could just listen to the music as a pure experience separate from the tragic circumstances surrounding the release.

Starting a rumour? How do you figure that? He died on his birthday of a cause not made public.

    Nah, typical dick waving

Bunch of posts from people enjoying the album, followed by an attempt by someone to show how much more tasteful they are than everyone else

You know that drill better than anyone bro!
