who knew?
Fish was chuffed to hear this and posted so on his FB page.
Ha! Interesting... I knew a couple of the Iron Maiden guys are big fans, never would have thought Lars was.
Interviewer of reprobate ne'er-do-well musicians of the long-haired rock n' roll persuasion at: www.velvetthunder.co.uk and former scribe at Classic Rock Society. Only vaguely aware of anything other than music.

I knew. I don't know if they still do it, but back in the 80's, at least, Rolling Stone used to do a year end thing where they'd ask famous musicians to pick their favorite albums of the year. In 1987, Lars was one of those musicians, and Clutching At Straws was one of those records he cited.
wow. he and i can be friends again!!!
It's always nice to hear about musicians you appreciate that enjoy other musicians/bands you dig when the two styles are so different. It reminds me of when Steven Wilson professed his enjoyment of both King's X and Twelfth Night.
