    Bingo.

I love the cover. Can't wait to hear it too!

Strictly on merit as musicians and musicianship and artistry the following people who have played on yes songs should comprise the band: does not include anybody who is retired or no longer playing. There is at least one musician who fits the category “should be retired“.

Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Tony Levin or Jeff Berlin, Patrick Moraz, Dylan Howe .

Everyone else’s second string or otherwise not even remotely worthy.

I personally wouldn't want to hear Moraz 'butcher' Wakeman's parts again!

Yeah. I like the idea of Yes having had a possible direction with Moraz for a time after Relayer, but I don't think he's a great choice for a band today in a universe where that never happened, playing sets of classic Yes songs.

Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally

I haven't seen Yes in concert in a long time so I'm curious about this. I've only read about the Benoit David, Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood (on bass) eras; I've never taken in any of their shows. I'll likely buy the CD.

They paid $250,000 dollars to develop it. Upon reading that, I realized I was in the wrong line of work (I have no drawing or visual art skills whatsoever, but I suspect I could have come up with something better).
I worked for a Wall Street company that spent a lot of money on a new logo with a splashy rollout. One of us grunts quickly realized if you rotated the logo 90 degrees it looked exactly like a girl smoking a crack pipe. Sweet.

Is Dylan Howe that much better than Bruford? Maybe.

    Bruford retired several years ago.

    My pick would be:
    Steve Howe
    Jon Anderson
Jon Davison(on acoustic guitar, percussion, backing vocals)
    Dylan Howe
    Tom Brislin or Eddie Jobson
The Miguel guy from YouTube on bass or the guy from Benoit's YES cover band(he's a killer bassist)

You can't just come in here and tell us that story and not include the logo.

Ok, had to use Paint and stuff to do this! Here's the logo (logotype omitted):

It definitely looks better without the type. If I were artistic director and this was submitted, my advice would be:

-Darken the reflection of the large rock formation on the right in the back. This will help it feel like it belongs in the picture more.
-Darken the bit of land under the rocks on the front left. This will help bring more continuity to the piece by creating one large shape with the boulders.
-Add more detail to this same part to help it move towards the foreground more.
-Spend a little more time on the antelope since it's a focal point of the composition.
-Vary the size of the floating rocks a little.

This isn't even considering the type, which needs even more work. I know I'll never be Roger Dean's art director and don't pretend to be half the artist he is. I think he'd probably be able to make the piece better if he put more time into it.

^ It does kind of look like Antelope clip-art.

That orientation works much better. Did someone else fill in the sky to make it a square?

Agreed. And the widescreen version is much better, too.

When making powerpoint slides the conventional wisdom is never use more than two fonts on a slide. The same probably holds for album covers as well.

Also the second cat is never going to make it as the next two leaps it has to make are physically impossible. Very poor floating rock placement.

The whole thing looks like it was knocked up in 5 minutes on the "Yes cover in a can" freeware.
