I could really give two shits if they have a hologram or not. Seeing that lineup play his music will be special regardless. They could just stick a framed pic of him on an easel in the middle of the stage and I'd be happy, but I'm sure it will be more intriguing than that.

The bass playing on Make a Jazz Noise Here and disc 2 of YCDOSTA Vol. 5 (Europe 1982) is just something else.

Yes!! The way he drives the ostinato during the solo section of 'Dupree's Paradise' on MAJNH gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Don't know if he's still got that kind of mojo 30 years on, but I'm keen to find out.

Yes he does. I saw him play 'Valley Girl' with manly command on a webcast of a ZpZ concert in London, and I was like freaking out totally.

Gotta admit, makes me very curious. Mike's a class act and a great Human, so I trust this isn't hyperbole. A ticket may be in my future.
