    Great news.

Now, when will Fred start posting again?

Great news to hear from the band I had the huge pleasure to meet and greet at the Terra Incognita Prog festival in Quebec City this past May. Fred and Steve Babb were a huge pleasure to chat with and talk past and present Glass Hammer.

Best wishes and glad to hear from the core of music creative geniuses!

Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Will it be available in hi-res?

Not this one. Many of the recordings date back to the 90s and those original files were not hi-rez.

anyone interested in this ought to pick up "The Compilations, 1996-2004" which is also an odds n' ends sort of release. mostly because it contains the 20+ minute epic "In the Court of Alkinoos" which was recorded for some 3-disc comp of Odyssey-themed songs. actually that comp is quite good, if you can stomach nine such epics in a row. but I thought Glass Hammer's contribution was clearly the best.

I'll post tonight when I get home from work. The songs are listed as "written by" and "performed by," and are not broken down to individual contribution. Also, there are some instrumentals.

Mine arrived today. I'd totally forgotten I ordered the picture book, so that was a nice surprise (signed, of course)! It's a nice memento.

Now I feel really crummy that I didn't make it to Progstock Friday - I've never seen Glass Hammer live! The humanity... I came close, I guess, when I saw Wyzards at Progscape. Would love to see a setlist from that show. Now that's an album I should pull out and have a fresh listen to!

Anyway, Untold Tales should be a good listen. I have a couple hours of driving next week, will probably put this on in the car.

Congrats on the 25 yr milestone, GH! The early pictures in the book are the most fun! Tee-hee!

I haven't listened to it yet, and with the Cavaliers season starting tonight, listening will have to wait. This information is from the booklet. Listening would undoubtedly clear things up further. OK, here goes...

    01) Shadows of the Past 2008 (N/A instr.)
    02) Infusion (N/A instr.)
    03) Identity Principle (one or a combination of Fred Schendel, Steve Babb and Walter Moore)
    04) Hold Your Head Up (one or a combination of Fred Schendel, Steve Babb and Walter Moore)
    05) Babb's Bach (N/A instr.)
    06) And Then She Sighed (one or a combination of Steve Babb, Laura Lindstrom Davis and Girls Choir: Allison Savard, Kaytie Mitchell, Kendra Roden. LLD mostly, I would guess from the notes.)
    07) Eiger Dreams ( N/A instr.)
    08) It's All Too Much (one or a combination of Susie Bogdanowicz, Fred Schendel, Steve Babb)
    09) Troll (one or a combination of Fred Schendel, Steve Babb)
    10) A Grain of Sand (Says instrumental, but also mentions Jon Davison's vocal track, so...)
    11) Cool Air (one or a combination of Jon Davison, Fred Schendel, Steve Babb)
    12) The Impulsive Type (one or a combination of Carl Groves, Fred Schendel, Steve Babb)
    13) No Man's Land (Live) (one or a combination of Susie Bogdanowicz, Fred Schendel, Steve Babb)
