I don't think it is as good as "The Dark Third", but I do like it.

I found them mildly entertaining at Nearfest, though I also wondered what exactly they were playing and what exactly was canned.

Not enough, however, to buy anything. I did hear the album (must have been the US version) either at Nearfest or soon after. Just didn't do much for me.

I love "The Dark Third". I listened to it constantly when it came out. They were a pleasure to work with for NEARfest. I don't think they knew what they were walking into. I remember the look on Chloe Alper's face in the hotel bar after all these prog guys knew who she was. The live album we put out from that show came out quite well. I think it was our fastest seller. Their other two albums are good, but much different from TDT. They've grown on me and I spin them from time to time.

    Missed NEARfest that year, 2006?
I totally agree with Nosebone here. Songs get samey sounding. I think every tune on here is in D minor. Same key syndrome can drive me batty. I only played it maybe 2 times since I bought it in 2006.

A band that had one very good highly distinctive album in them. Glad they did it and have moved on.
