I 'think' they are coming to Boston, if they don't I may have to come to NYC.

tough to cover YOU... Moerlen was such a monster on that one
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Possibly my favorite instrumental of all time: A Sprinkling Of Clouds

(your handle is another! Love me some 'Port.)
Perhaps finding the happy medium is harder than we know.

I think so, yes. The new album is killer, and I don't see that band having any problems performing any of the older work either.

Is Kavus part of this tour next year? I'm assuming yes, and if I'm around, I'm there.

yeah, he may not have been the greatest drummer ever, but he had a style that I just loved!

How much drums did Moerlen really play on the classic Gong albums (before they became his band)?

And what was done by Bruford and Cutler, Brian Davison or Laurie Allen? Wasn't there even Graham Bond's
    wife drumming for them?

On the recordings? Angel's Egg and You were Moerlen. Laurie Allan was around for Flying Teapot. The rest - and boy there sure is a lot - were around for 74/75 tours.

Few have gone to my adrenals as consistently and as often as Pierre.

That's worth a winter trip to Montreal from NYC methinks. Still holding out for an NYC show though.

Just Canada and Japan at this point. If anything does happen in North America it won't be until next year.

We'd love to go to the show at Club Soda, but we're making the trek north to that venue for IQ in October.

And I'm pretty sure Canada is in North America.

OK, my brains scrambled going to their site...where are you finding the dates for NYC!?
