    Pixvae- Latin Core !

Anyone dig these guys here ?
Wonderful debut by Pixvae (and once again thanks to our pal Manu Muré for ever educating us )
Latin Core - Sounds weird ? I am here to tell you it actually works and the result is musical and impressive
Much like Etheopian Core (Ukandaz )

I love them and really enjoyed the RIO show.
The guitar player (who is also in Ukandanz) has another nice band called Kouma which sound like Ukandanz and Pixvae minus the Ethiopian/ latin influences, making them a Null core band?

Anybody that says music is dead ain't doing their homework. Was diggin' that first track, what a unique sound. Vox are pretty killer, which you don't always say in the prog world.
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

    Pura vida!.
    My personal thoughts:
This fusion is interesting, a colombian / french ensamble: works really good!
I am used to this and more for when the language, my language, is predominant.

    Good call!.

    Pura vida!.

Good band, enjoyed their set at RIO, need to get Piniol at RIO.
