Rest in Peace SPAWN OF POSSESSION (Technical Death Metal)

    https://www.facebook.com/SpawnofPoss...54939107395172

Last week we decided to put SoP to rest due to several problems, mostly because we now realise we dont have the time to either finish a beast like a new album properly or do anything else with SoP for a long time. So the band has pretty much just faded away at this point. Anyway! We are very thankful for all the support we had through the years!
    Cheers!

Sad to see, although I'm not hugely surprised as the gap between Noctambulant and Incurso was 6 years, the next album it sounds like could have taken even longer since its already been 5+ years.

Incurso is amazing and a great last release, but it still sucks that's it. Wish I could have seen them live too.

Never heard of them before this. Made me curious and I'm playing Incurso. It's very impressive.

    indeed.

Incurso may go down as an all-time classic with time.

I've been listening to it for a few days now - the complexity is really astounding. Check out that bass cover I Posted - the writing is unbelievably intricate. The clean production also enables everything to be heard, which is not always the case with EM/Grindcore/Death albums. REALLY really great. Thanks for the heads-up.

This is really good. Too bad about them folding.

I pretty much gave up on most extreme metal-related stuff a while back, but when it's as impressive as this it makes me reconsider big time.

If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.
