I'm in. That's one helluva lineup.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
I'm intrigued, but the album teaser snippet is awfully noisy (i.e. lots of overplaying at one time).

Then again the title is "Psychotic Symphony."

will check it out certainly. I can't help but have hoped for either Daniel Gildenlow or John Arch to be involved as I've hoped Mike would work either/both of them in an all-original music project for years (not Transatlantic btw, per Gildenlow I don't believe even wrote the 1 or 2 songs he was involved with on their last album).
Also Billy Sheehan seems to be in next to every band Portnoy forms now. If Portnoy formed a band of regulars he works with, the band might be good:
Mike Portnoy
Billy Sheehan
Neal Morse
Paul Gilbert
Still kinda bummed that his collaboration with John Sykes went nowhere, but that seems to be on John.
Not really a fan of Bumblefoot, but I like the rest of the lineup.
They made their live debut last night at the David Z Tribute concert:

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Portnoy must love shitty singers. This guy and Kotzen do nothing for me....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I might be more interested in hearing them do Van Halen live instead of their new material.
samples didn't impress. Same old, same old. heard that x100 times before.
METAL!!!

Another video from the David Z tribute concert:
I have to agree with some of you here - can't get too excited about this "band". It's mostly my distaste for too many notes/metal, but I know a lot of people love that stuff. Soto surprised me when he was with Journey. Very good singer.
Pretty impressive.
I'd never heard him with Journey before.

Soto also tours as part of the West Coast touring unit of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Show:
Guys, don't pretend you don't remember Jeff was Yngwie Malmsteen's first singer. (And yes, the guy's awesome. He should've been in Van Halen at some point.)
Here are some pro-shot clips with great sound.
