    Actor, director and playwright Sam Shepard died on July 27 at age 73.

    I wasn't that familiar with his plays but damn, what an actor. RIP to a one of a kind talent.

    Fabulous actor, often donning that classic (though also slightly anti-heroic) "man personae" which initially died out with the golden age of American New Cinema in the late-70s. However, some of his writing was not only great but outright astonishing.

    This leaves us with 45+ yearold 12-yearolds sporting their backwards caps and attempts at lower voice. Well, I guess at least Billy-Bob T. is trying to keep at it.
