Wonder if they're playing with John Hawken. He lives in that area, doing his day job - which is managing a supermarket. I'm not kidding.

They need to contact the new City Winery in Boston pronto. They've booked Renaissance, so they're definitely prog-vet friendly.

Awesome, I'll have to make sure I see them this time.

Would rather see them with DAVE BAINBRIDGE again, whom was the star of the last tour. Really delivering the goods in vintage sounds and dynamic playing, and even adding in his own touches to make things even better. I saw The Strawbs about 10 years ago with Hawken, and was disappointed. No offense to Hawken, and I met him and he was super nice guy, but he didn't really come prepared with authentic gear or samples. His playing was low-key compared to his days in the 70's.

Hope to see The Strawbs return to Chicago, loved the show last year.

Bainbridge and Fernandez really invigorated the band during the last tour.

Yes. The "originals" are Cousins, Cronk and Lambert.

May not be able to make this tour. Hopefully I can because who knows how many times I'll get to see them again.

Would imagine we will be hearing some of their
    new CD on this tour...

    "Angels die, redemption rages
The age of man on an empty page
    And chances are
This will save your soul or break it forever "

Attention, bands that are willing to play Beacon, NY! Play Tarryown, NY too! You'll probably get a bigger crowd there. IMO.
