    Original OSI -- Still Killer

One of the songs from this release popped up on my "shuffle" function in the car the other day; I had to go home and listen to the whole album..............one of those magical moments in rock.
What a piece of work.............it defines "heavy".............both with the composition, intent and playing of Matheos /Portnoy and with the arrangements/post-production of Moore............all brilliant stuff.

To listen to "The Thing That Never Was" and then the disc in it's final Moore-arranged-format is a treat.............an amazing transformation.
One of my favorite prog CDs ever.

Jim Matheos is wildly underrated. I just saw Fates Warning last week and they were great.

Free is my favourite one but the debut album is also quite good.

Agreed. Their opening act, Infinite Spectrum, didn't disappoint either.

OSI never gets old for me. Probably behind on releases though. Fire Make Thunder is the last one I have.

As far as I can tell, that was their last release. I've loved them all.
