    yeah, it never struck me that most arts writers (whatever art that may include) are "journalists".

    And the fact that they call themselves "journalists" is almost a fallacy or impersonation. Howevern, I can see why they got included in the journalist trade unions
    my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

    Christgau was a bona fide journalist by trade prior to writing about music, but not sure of any others.
