    KILIMANJARO DARKJAZZ ENSEMBLE

Just listened -3 times in a row- their last CD "From the stairwell", killer stuff !
Not really prog or even avant-prog but fantastic compos, partly written/improvised. At the crossroad of dark ambient / Popol Vuh / Portishead / David Lynch's Twin Peaks.
Great female vocals (Charlotte Segarra) ala Julie Cruise.

The twin band (same musicians) THE MOUNT FUJI DOOMJAZZ CORPORATION is great too but oriented towards less written compos. Their "Succubus" album is GREAT & also well worth the purchase.

    Any other fans here ?

Stairwell is the only one I have, but it's great stuff.

I enjoy both Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation quite a bit.

My fave KDE is still 'Here Be Dragons.' Haven't explored Mt. Fuji yet, really need to do so...
