    ^^^ Thanks James.

Still sifting thru the good footage from a live gig Monday night. I'll have some stuff up online by next week. But for now, some knob twisting from the little camera that was on my desk.

    Did some editing this weekend.

Another piece from that night. More of a slow burn. Shifts gears from intense to chill around 2:30.

    ^^^

Cools sounds there James. How long do you play for when doing these gigs?

  7. #232
About 45 minutes. This'll be the last until I find somewhere else to play, sadly. This was a little wine bar/performance space in my neighborhood, and it's been sold to someone who's turning it into an Italian Restaurant next month.

Here's the entire set, if anyone is curious. I know I was curious. Cleaning this up last night was the first time I listened thru the whole thing. Some lovely surprises in there that I didn't recall playing.

    And the last video.

All these compositions have grown on me, and I think before I'm completely done with this stuff I wanna have a go at editing them down to shortish, 4 or 5 minute long tracks as an EP. Then I'm done with them.

Very nice James. It's amazing how the sound takes on a life of it's own and drifts in and out as you play. Sweet and organic.

Thanks. Yeah, I was most happy here with things I had no control over. That's the beauty of this stuff.

^^^ Great job, have you taken her on ambient outing yet?

  18. #243
Not yet. I might try to get something short on Instagram this weekend, but I'm laying low for the holidays and re-configuring my board for big things in the new year. I have an Immerse MKII on its way, gonna sell or trade in the Big Sky (got my eyes on the Strymon Iridium and/or the Neunaber Neuron), and of course we're a few weeks away from the arrival of Blooper.

Well, the Chase Bliss Blooper is here, and it is magnificent.

Just starting to scratch the surface. Playing over soundbed of blooper and mood loops.

Haven't posted anything to this thread in ages. Here's a slow burn soundscape I recorded over the weekend that I'm quite happy with:

Sounds great, you've really got a pedal orchestra going there. Glad you woke this thread up again.

Very enjoyable. I like all the texture to the sounds...the layers are very effective.

Thanks for the listening and offering kind words. That open space next to Blooper is waiting for my Microcosm to arrive. Should have it by Monday - got the shipping notice last night.

Then I start making music regularly again. Watch this space for more updates.

Very nice! Maybe the best pieces so far! Wonderful orchestration! Soothing harmonies reminiscent of Eno's tone language! Looking forward to hearing more!
