    Lonely Robot: The Big Dream

Just listened to this and it's as good if not better than Please Come Home. I love the theme and story behind it. And of course one of the best unknown guitarists out there that I can listen to play and sing all day....

How are the songs on this and the previous one? Good melodies, etc?

I am really digging The Big Dream , better than the first Lonely Robot release in my opinion , and that one was pretty good too.

Another very solid John Mitchell production! Autobuy for LR fans.

Another great release from LR, two for two! Beautiful melodies, radio-friendly choruses, and well-constructed songs. One of my favorites so far this year.

It's really excellent. Since it came out the same week as Grimspound and the new Magenta I decided to put it aside for a while to give it a fair listen, I'm glad I did as when I finally got round to it last weekend I really enjoyed it. Great songs, very tuneful with really good playing & vocals from Mr Mitchell and a fantastic drum performance from Craig Blundell.

Resurrecting an old thread... I just discovered this group as a result of listening to a snippet of Steven Wilson's cover of the Lonely Robot song "In Floral Green". I'm listening to this album now and I'm really loving it. I didn't know that the Wilson version was a cover of this song until I found some Reddit discussion of Wilson doing a new version. John Mitchell has an interesting voice. He reminds me at times of Claudio Momberg of SETI.

Oops, I guess lead vocals on SETI are actually by Jaime Scalpello.

What?!?! Where can I find this? I haven't seen anything about it and a quick Google search isn't helping.

It's on his just released (but not yet received) Record Store Day CD single, Eminent Sleaze, which contains two additional tracks with one being the cover of In Floral Green.
