    Karda Estra - 'Infernal Spheres'

    Hello PE,

Just to say I have a new album 'Infernal Spheres' out on the Believers Roast label. Available on CD & digital at Bandcamp, Genepool and should be with distros like Wayside around now too:

'Infernal Spheres' is another fine release from Richard Wileman who continues on the crest of a creative wave. His skill at taking chamber classical, jazz and rock influences and turning them into something new is beyond reproach and he continues to give his audience fascinating and intelligent music of real depth.' Jez Rowden, The Progressive Aspect

    Composed, arranged and produced by
    RICHARD WILEMAN

RICHARD WILEMAN - acoustic, classical, electric, bass &
    prepared guitars, keyboards, samples, percussion,
    rastrophone, bouzouki, Appalachian dulcimer, zither
    JO COURT - bass clarinet (6, 9, 10)
    CARON DE BURGH - oboe (3, 8), cor anglais (1, 8)
    HELEN DEARNLEY - violin (4)
    AMY FRY - clarinet (5, 9), tenor saxophone (9)
    RICHARD OVERTON - bass trombone (1, 3), tenor trombone (6, 9)
    LAURAINE PHELAN - trumpet (6, 9)
    PAUL SEARS - drums (2, 6)
    ILEESHA WILEMAN - vocals (7, 9, 10)

    Best wishes,
    Richard

Beautifully crafted Richard, I'll definitely check out some Karda Estra in the coming weeks and look to pick this up along with Time and Stars. Congratulations on these outstanding achievements.

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Great - thanks! Actually, I have completely sold out of the previous CD album 'Time & Stars' so there's only a handful left that are still available at the likes of Wayside.

You have a (soon to be) rarity!

Here's another piece from the album. Mr Sears did a fine Gainsburg / Claude Vannier for me.

Ooh, just found out about this one.

As an obsessive fan of Doctor Who, may I say I am quite excited that I am about to listen to a song titled "Kklak!".

... and now, having listened to it, it definitely seems to echo some of Birdsongs of the Mesozoic's more acoustic pieces, which makes perfect sense.

Ooh, looking forward to hearing this. Been on a bit of a Karda Estra kick these past few months, with Mondo Profondo/New Worlds possibly topping out as my favorite.

Edit: Wow, Solar Riviera is wonderful!!
