RIP. Never was a fan. I was aware of the band in the 70s but don't recall any of their hits back then. The 80s hits I've heard ad nauseum. Never liked 'em.

They had a long and extensive career back in the day, but I know them for helping to define my 80s childhood with "Freeze Frame." RIP.

Actually, when that FF album and its two mega-hits (FF and CF) happened and its predecessor (Love Stinks), it was such a turn-off that I totally shunned away from investigating what they'd done before.

I just found out their first album dates from 70 , though I did try the double live album some decades ago... Simply didn't get the hoopla

Say what you will about their music, they were a mighty band live.

They had that reputation, but their 80's music simply didn't appeal to me.
