"Alienated-so alien I go!"
Never cared much for provocative album covers or band names. Its just such an obvious and easy way to go. Its the opposite of "the white album" or even "smell the glove"
I got nothin' :
...avoiding any implication that I have ever entertained a cognizant thought.

The cover of Autopsy's Shitfun album kind of gets to me. Can't say it's the MOST vulgar or offensive thing, but it just kind of hits the wrong nerves.
Album itself isn't bad, in that early grind kind of way. I think I'll be seeing them in a couple of months @ MDF, in fact.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Also, Ephemeral Sun: it's a thing and we like making things that might be your thing: https://ephemeralsun.bandcamp.com
Jody Foster's Army always seemed audacious because of using her name that way. I wonder what name would have gotten them sued fastest (I don't know if Jody ever objected)?
Colonel Sanders' Army
Amy Carter's Army
Walt Disney's Army
Han Solo's Army
Ass-Raping Chewbacca
Brian Jonestown Massacre?
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
More ironic and humorous and less offensive--- The Negro Problem.
Ironic as it's led by Stew, who is black.
The Dead Kennedy's
Allah's Boyfriend

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Slunt. Maybe it's because the only thing that's mildly offensive is their name.
Can we start a sub-thread? offensively named bands that you have personally seen live.
My entry would be "Midget Handjob". A pretty decent improvising/noise collective. A lot like 90s Faust actually.
I just remembered three of the top hardcore bands in early 1980s Boston:
SS Decontrol
Smegma and the Nuns
Jerry's Kids
Lou
Looking forward to my day in court.
In an answer to another thread, I was reminded of Frijid Pink.

The cover of Mayhem's Dawn of The Black Hearts is pretty crazy. It's a photograph (taken by their guitarist) of their former lead singer's lifeless body after blowing his brains out with a rifle.
Most of the Cannibal Corpse album covers are pretty eye-opening as well...
Interviewer of reprobate ne'er-do-well musicians of the long-haired rock n' roll persuasion at: www.velvetthunder.co.uk and former scribe at Classic Rock Society. Only vaguely aware of anything other than music.

Hi again,
Surprised no one mentioned this band yet:
Cheers,
