Think Kenny G but with a touch of George Benson

To quote the epic W. Becker:

"Q: You are in a room with Hitler, Mussolini, and Kenny G, and you have a gun with only two bullets. What do you do?

A: You shoot Kenny G twice, just to be sure."

    NO KENNY G

Fun Fact #5,427: one of Brian's favorite guitarists is Pat Metheny! So he'd probably say "hell yes to that"

Yeah...actually, the original was drawn by his young son with some minor tweaks from us.

I have a very loose "concept" threaded throughout this album, and almost immediately when Charlie shared the original...it just resonated with that concept. Took a little convincing for some of the other dudes to be honest.. So, if folks are hating it, then keep those crosshairs on me

And with THAT said...much like how I feel the cover is going over, I'm pretty confident we're losing fans on this one.

I don't think it's that far removed from whatever the fuck was on the cover of Harvest Aorta (a human heart with trees sprouting out it?)

Maybe it needs more floating rocks or things, so it can end up on the front page of PE

Full disclosure: somewhat out of character but I'm finding myself a bit more sensitive about the cover than, well, just about any other aspect of what we do. Mainly because it was a young child who drew it originally and I don't ever want them to feel ridiculed. No one here has said anything but one person on FB made a comment that sort of struck a nerve. I'm embarrassed to say that it didn't even occur to me when I pushed for this cover, that it might have backlash on someone who doesn't deserve it and/or might not understand it.

That said...pretty sure they won't be on PE ever so feel free to keep the smack coming

The cover somehow reminds me of the robot on Queen's News of the World; I think it's a cool cover, and even cooler that a youngster came up with it (with some of your tweaks).

Here is a short bit of footage of us recording this stuff which morphs from raw camera/phone sound to final mastered audio (albeit short bits).
Oddly it doesn't visually feature Ephemeral Sun's amazing guitar player, and these are all somehow the mellow bits.
