Michigan vs Michigan State Tomorrow for the battle at the top of the Big 10. The conference is stacked this year.

Meanwhile in the MAC the Buffalo Bulls are the first MAC team in a long time who have a legit chance at a deep tournament run this year.

I just spent a few minutes explaining to my son (9) why college basketball is better than pro basketball, but it didn't seem like he got it. IMO of course!
This was meant to be a joke, being it's the 2017 thread, and they won in 2017. Although clearly they are good again this year, the joke would have been better if a less prodigious school won two years ago.

I agree that college is better than the pros, btw. I have zero interest in the NBA (the only finals I've watched in the past 6 years was the last 5 minutes or so the year Cleveland won the title) but every year march madness is required viewing for me.

The LSU player took fours steps on the winning basket against Maryland. Those officials should get jobs in the NFL, it pays more.

I really haven't. As I've gotten older, my interest in Baseball and College Basketball have really declined. Hockey is on the rise, though. The last few years, I'd watch the tourney, even though I didn't watch the regular season. This year, I don't have much interest. Maybe if my team was better.

Since the Badgers tanked against the Ducks, I'll watch again when it's the final 4.

I am rooting for MSU, but picked Duke to win it all in my bracket. Also rooting for Buffalo since they are from the MAC. I think they have a shot against Texas Tech tonight.

After the first weekend I am in first place in my bracket ($20 buy in with 20+ people in the contest). So far so good.

Didn't look like the Tennessee player even touched the Purdue player for the three point foul. The Purdue player was really close to being out of bounds.

The Virginia/Purdue game was entertaining as hell - hated to see either team lose. That Carsen Edwards kid is really good at basketball.

Great game, and a fair result. The more than double turnovers from Duke decided the issue.

My wife says that I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the mastery of her alma mater, MSU. I am glad they won, but I hate it when she's right.

I had Duke winning it all in my bracket, but very happy with MSU's win. My father is an MSU grad, so growing up in our house we were Green and White all the way.

I am in a bracket with about 20 other people and I think this is the first time I can ever remember that every single person's champion has been eliminated.
