I'm thinking the Texans, but haven't heard anything that indicates it's his choice.

I think it's a possibility. Elway lured Manning. If he targets Romo I can see him getting his man. He'll be hurt by week 3 anyway!

Well, that's the issue. I've heard that Romo is very interested in Denver - it's just a matter of how interested Denver is in him.

If I were Romo (which, clearly, I'm not--I mean, it takes a more than a stiff breeze to shatter one of my limbs) I'm going to Houston. More than serviceable weapons on offense, very solid D (especially if Watt can stay healthy), and the team plays in the weakest division in the league.

yeah, but he doesn't just want a division title... he's done that a few times
he wants a ring, and the Denver Mules is his only shot at that

    Don't know about that.

Anyway, he could pull a Durant-lite move and join the Patriots.

I'd take Romo as a backup. Tanny had a good year but the injury prevented him from proving anything. We'll see what happens this year. Yeesh, what is it, like 6 months or so to go? I envy you baseball fans.

Denver seems likely for Romo, but there could be some surprises now that he will for sure be a UFA.

The AFC West has become a very difficult division. The Chiefs and the Raiders should be amongst the best in the AFC next season. Gone are the days where Denver got the division crown just by showing up.

And putting Romo on the Bronx doesn't make them a shoo-in for the AFC title either.

Kenny Britt is apparently going to the Browns.

A lot of speculation earlier that the Eagles had nabbed him.

No, but they'd be super bowl contender. As would Houston. Neither are right now.

Nothing is a shoo-in. Ask the Packers, who have the best QB in the league.

I agree. I was still addressing MT's assertion that Denver is his only option that potentially leads to the Super Bowl.

They are not the same team now that they were then. They've had a lot of attrition.

We see how much teams change year to year, especially those that have some success and then can't pay their previously lower paid talent.

Word now is that Romo will not be released.

The Cowboys are apparently working out a trade with either Houston or Denver.

    BIG TRADE! (not involving Romo)

EDIT: Apparently the Browns did this move to get the Texans 2nd round pick. They had the cap space to absorb Osweiller's contract but they may ultimately cut him...

Wow. No one saw that one coming.

Eagles just got Alshon Jeffrey, and the Washington football team is apparently talking to Terrelle Pryor

Kinda saw the Texans getting rid of Osweiler but not in this way. Will be interesting to see where he ends up, presuming the Browns do indeed release him as reports are indicating.
