As a teenager growing up in the 70s just across the Michigan border, seeing J. Geils was a must. They rocked and they rocked hard. They did get more polished in later years, but still worth every second watching live.

I saw them many times back in the mid-late 70s. I witnessed Peter Wolf open a bottle of champaign on stage and catch the cork!
