    This song is incredible.

    It's Mercury Rev and Elbow and prog at the same time.

    It is a cracking track isn't it? The rest of the album is just as good.

    It's a side project from North Atlantic Oscillation so if you like the Sand album then try Fog Electric next - very similar in style. Alternatively you could try the new NAO compilation Lightning Strikes The Library which is a good round up of their 3 albums and also includes tracks from the Sand album.

    Hmm...When I saw the thread title, I thought maybe the 70s Sand was making a comeback.

    Except I was referring to the American band who put out a couple albums back then. Classed as Prog-Rock by some, but the 2nd (which I have) is not.

    Sand has a new album this year as well. It's a lot harder to find, but I bought it directly from the band (reasonable shipping).

    And yes, Clay is amazing.
