    Heliopolis Los Angeles-Area Gig -- March 14, 2013

Happy to announce Heliopolis' first LA-area gig March 14, 2013 (Thursday is the new Friday) with our friends The Running Jumps (XTC-inspired prog-pop), Plasticsoul (killer powerpop) and Malcolm Cross (of Minibar). We're closing out the night with a free-form band jam dropping some prog covers and perhaps even some XTC.

That really appeals to all of us here at the assisted living facility!

    Miss you, man!

Nice clip guys. It seems as if when it comes to the local prog scene its thriving a bit more on the west coast as compared to the east coast. I'm hoping to plan a trip out there in the near future and catch one of these shows. Good luck with the show.

A final love bump -- on the off-chance any LA-area PE people might give us a shot.

Man, what a great thing to see this band--fantastic, just FANTASTIC!!
For a second show in front of civilians, everyone was blown away--could've told us it was your 10th anniversary and it would've seemed credible!
I thought all the guys were excellent, and the mix of styles and energies was wonderful--and, I just love seeing my friend Matt Brown utilizing all his powers for good!

We need to get this band in front of MORE PEOPLE!!

Congrats, guys--here's to many more and much success!!

Thanks a million, David -- we really appreciate the support and YES, Matt was awesome! We had an absolute BLAST -- the venue was great (the sound guy was playing Gentle Giant, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Piglet between bands!), we had a great crowd, all the bands were wonderful, and the Jumble Jam(tm) was a ton of fun.

We're gonna law low for a couple of months and get some recordings in the works, planning on playing locally again perhaps in late May or early June. We'll make it a weekend night next time!

Thanks again for coming to the show, David, see you soon...

You live there because Madison is awesome. Thank you, Steve.

If anyone wants to check out the whole show, including some awesome and some sketchy end-of-night jams, it's all here (courtesy of Stephane Peter).
