I'm sitting here on a Sunday morning listening to Coil - The Ape of Naples. This artist has eluded me all this time and I'm completely blown away. It honestly brings me back to the 80s for some reason, listening to the artsier new wave/post punk/whatever of the era while falling madly in love with every goth girl I met.
No matter what anyone says, you are the decider of how you will listen to music.

Hatfield and the North Central TV 1990
In 1990 Hatfield reformed for a one-off appearance for Central TV. Dave Stewart wasn’t available and was replaced by Sophia Domancich. After the concert the recording was edited by Central TV who managed to remove all of Phil’s tunes. Very sad for Phil who not only had his tunes removed without notice but, unlike all the other musicians, received no royalties as a result of the TV exposure which would have been considerable.
For those of you who have not heard the bootlegged recording of the run-through the day before here is your chance to hear all the tunes that were intended.

There's a official CD/DVD from a part of this concert: Access All Areas. I guess this misses indeed most of the Phil Miller-tracks (Underdub and 5/4 Intro are credited to him though).

The Cinematic Orchestra: To Believe, the album released this summer, probably their most introvert one:

    Paul Millns - Footsteps

Not prog, but I like it. Everytime I buy an album and listen to it, I want to have more.

John is incredibly talented and this soundtrack is so wonderful I bought the cd from him.
While I'm not listening to it at the moment, thought I'd recommend it for some of you great people out there.

The latest Flying Colors album. Happy to hear places where Steve Morse sounds like his old self again, though less frequently, mixed in with tons of slower snarling attitude rock licks. There was about a year where I stopped watching Deep Purple live clips cuz it was too painful to hear him. So glad he's regained/readjusted however he needed to.
